Books to try in your upcoming academic session📖

Once our new academic session is near, bookworms and nerds look forward for another different variety of books to read. And for all those today's blog brings to you a list of 7 books to enjoy in your academic year. If you are not yet a fan of books and can't stick on to reading those, check out our blog on enjoying books.
So, the list shared below have books belonging to mainly the genres like self-help, philosophy and non-fiction along with classics. The books shall help you perform better in school, do your work and savour it at the same time.


1) Making the Impossible Possible by Daisaku Ikeda

The book is excerpted from The New Human Revolution and other writings by Daisaku Ikeda. It talks about the campaigns run by the SGI president, the young Ikeda. In this non-fiction and philosophical book he states how he has accomplished every battle and every challenge decisively. The book propels you to think harder and realise the enigma and truths prevailing in your surroundings. It is deeply thought provoking and has guidelines for living a basic life with certain principles that helps you to reach the success pinnacle.


2)Megaliving by Robin Sharma

Megaliving is another Mega work by the author of The Monk who sold his Ferrari"Robin Sharma". It has a guide of 30-days to a brilliant life. It talks about all those important things required for focus, calmness, hard work, gratitude, living better and upgrading your lifestyle finally leading to a successful life.

3) Great Expectations by Charles Dickens


"We need never to be ashamed of our tears"



This commendable work by Charles Dickens is his second work written entirely in the first person. It talks about an orphan boy Philip or just Pip. The book narrates the education of Growing Pip and how he decides to work hard to earn money and be capable to marry a girl named Estella. The book incorporates learnings such as self-improvement and being ambitious. It clearly comes out with the moral theme that affection and loyalty are important that wealth.

4) The day I stopped drinking Milk by Sudha Murthy


"A fire cannot extinguish another fire. It is only water who does it&


This book is highly recommend for kindness and gratitude seekers. It is a completely non-fiction book, talking about real life incidents happening in Ms. Murthy's life. The book is like a diary were Murthy is remembering those beautiful moments and noting them down in this book. The book portraits all those kind and helpful efforts done by Sudha Murthy in her life along with the partnership of Infosys Foundation. The chronicle describes how treasured our life is and we must be greatfull for it.

5) Wonder by RJ Palacio


"Strong people don't put others down, they lift them up."




Talking about this wonderful book in words is a tricky job but Palacio has done it very beautifully. The story revolves around a 10 year old boy with facial abnormalities. And henceforth he was being homeschooled but now it's time that he studies in an actual school. The book tell you to stay bold, whatever the situation maybe. It signifies how and why to stand up even if people are left horror shock or left with their stomach aching when they see your face, when people put in all efforts to let you down and when everyone treats you differently. In short, this book is a must read for everyone.


6) The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho

"When you want something, all the universe conspires you to achieve it"




This book binds an inspirational story about a young Spanish shepherd. Its content is rich in fiction and is very carefully crafted by Paulo Coelho. It is about following your dream and goal and achieving it; while doing so the whole universe conspires for its happening. It's special feature is that it talks a lot about the 'Soul of the World' which attracts people towards their goals. This story is not about the alchemist with whim Santiago meets but it is about the one who becomes an Alchemist and takes over.

7) To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee
"The brave man is not he who doesn't feel afraid but the one who conquers his fears."

 

This many times bestseller, this book is preferred for students of middle and high school. Harper Lee uses memorable characters to explore civil rights and racism  along with defining thematic topics such as bravery, integrity, perception and maturity. The whole novel is being seen through the eyes of a 6-year old girl, Scout Finch, a daughter of  a black lawyer.

And finally we finish with the list, the books are very carefully picked and have motivation oozing in very word. The list has only 7 books so that you can continue reading your interests along with them.
