Did someone say Dark Academia?? Here are my notes on this beautiful aesthetic.

Hello and Welcome December!

Literally, I have been feeling so much good and hygge lately because it's December, I just love the weather all around during this time and the vibe in the atmosphere. Also wearing some furry socks and lighting a Hufflepuff candle on your table while studying or reading beneath the blankets with lavender mist makes your day.

Now as you might have seen in the December Newsletter we are going to explore the two popular yet incredible aesthetics of dark and light Academia ▼・ᴥ・▼

But before that here is a crisp introduction for you on the aesthetics if you don't know that already.

Basically, dark and light academia are two types of aesthetics ( something that is pleasant in appearance or something concerned with feeling good). Now both these aesthetics are related to studying along with some inspiration from various backgrounds.

—☆ While dark academia is about classic literature (mainly Oscar Wilde or Charles Dickens), the pursuit of self-discovery, and the endless thirst for learning more and attaining knowledge. It also loves historic and cottage core background. While light Academia is more of something lively, loving your mates and enjoying along with the severe studying core. The only basic difference is the color palette.

—☆So now, here we begin with my personal guide/ notes to Dark Academia.

I don't really want you to follow this insanely without reasons because it does include some unhealthy study habits like studying all night and day, rigorous studying again.

Well, I guess that's a lot of content already. Dark academia offers you outfits and music just for inspiration so if you don't really get those there is no problem at all because their purpose is not that you can't complete dark academia without them but just to add a cherry on the cake for more inspiration of the 1940's European style.

Dark academia has that feel of gothic and severity but if that's not your type wait for the next blog because it is going to be about my notes on light academia so stay tuned and have a great week ahead!

I hope this content provided by me today was informative and helps you out!
